WEAPONS OF WAR SYLLABUS

1.  The Turn Probe Warhammer  |  B250

In the first episode of the course we learn how to incorporate a 250% pot turn probe into our strategy as well as a giant 7x check/raise. Why are these lines so effective in this spot and how do we go about constructing the polarised ranges for these pot-inflating actions?

2. The Delayed CBet Swiss Army Knife | B33, B75, B150

When is it correct to deploy a small delayed cbet? When should a standard B75 be your choice for this spot, and what are the board textures where our delayed cbets can be overbets? Let’s master turn sizing in these profitable spots.

3. The Swords of Check Raising Flop | 3.5x, 7x

When facing cbets on the flop, it’s sometimes correct to use a small raise and build a more merged check/raising range, while in other spots we should just be going big when we check/raise. Learn which is which; how to build the raising range; and start playing properly vs. those pesky continuation bets you’re always facing.

4. The River Probe Jab | B33

This essential river bet size that is absent from 90% of low-stakes players’ games. There are many spots where checking and big betting are both wrong when out of position on the river. Let’s start probing the river for 33% pot in the right spots.

5. The Turn Air Rifle | B75, B150

Did you know that you can double barrel the turn in position with absolutely NOTHING in many spots and that it’s theoretically approved? Moreover, many of these double barrels will work more often vs humans than they do in theory. Let’s stop playing a nitty, equity-driven barrel range in these juicy spots where we get to be very aggressive.

6. The Triple Barrel Cannons | B75, B200

When you have the chance to fire that third barrel on the river, there are two main options for you when in position: A normal bet of 3/4s pot, and shoving for the rest of your stack (often around 2x pot). This video explains how to select the value hands and bluffs for each sizing.

7. The Turn Dynamite Check/Raise | 7x

How to suddenly spring the trap of the huge turn check/raise and destroy your opponents’ delayed c-betting ranges, which are often more capped than they should be. Not only are these lines sound in theory, but they are also one of the best mass-data hotspots for printing money in practice.

8. The River Sniper Check/Raise | 4x, 7x

On the river, strong hands can value bet out of position, but monsters can check/raise! Are you finding enough check raises on the river or are you robotically just betting all of your good hands? Let’s learn how to get even more money into the pot for value with the river check/raise while planning out some of the best bluffs for this line.

9. The River Bazooka | B400

There are times when the pot is quite small but your hand is very strong. In many of these cases, it is solver-approved to bet many times the pot on the river. Of course, such a rarely seen line tends to strike the fear of god into your opponents so let’s cover both the theory and the exploitative side of the 4x pot river bet and have some fun in the process.

10. The River Pen Knife | B10

Very big bets are a nightmare to deal with but so too are tiny ones. In many out of position river spots, you have a value range for 10% pot. There are hands strong enough to bet this size but no bigger. As we’ll see in this video, your opponents are going to react very badly to this weird and wonderful sizing which is a very common choice for a solver if given the option!
